Pleiades: Optical Satellite

"Pleiades" constellation provides very-high resolution optical products at a resolution of 50 cm, operated by Astrium GEO-Information Services, France.


Imaged area at single acquisition (20 km x 20 km) is half time wider than other high resolution optical satellites' swath.
Ability to image at 1m resolution everyday in the area above latitude 45˚N by combining Pleiades-2 schedule to be launched later 2012.
