Therefore, the protection of personal information and the implementation of security measures for the protection of personal information form the basis of PASCO's business activities, and are regarded by the company as a part of our social responsibility. PASCO CORPORATION has laid out our Privacy policy as follows. We strive to ensure that the executive officers and employees have complete understanding of the the policy so that they are able to take appropriate measures in protecting personal information.

    PASCO CORPORATION has established a management system aimed at protecting personal information in a way that corresponds with the contents of our businesses. We acquire personal information in an appropriate manner, within a scope that is necessary only for the achievement of our purposes of use, and through fair means that are in line with legal stipulations. The personal information that has been acquired is used within the limitations of the relevant purpose of use. We also treat the provision and handling of personal information on commission in an appropriate manner that is in line with established regulations.

The personal information collected by PASCO is provided to us at the discretion of the customer. There are cases whereby the customer may be unable to make use of services provided by PASCO in the event that the customer does not wish to provide his or her personal information. 2. Disclosure and provision of personal information to third parties

PASCO CORPORATION does not provide personal information to third parties without prior agreement from our customers. This does not include cases whereby the handling of personal information is entrusted to contractors in order to facilitate the smooth execution of the abovementioned purposes. Exceptions are made in the event* that the circumstance falls within the exceptions to the limitations of third-party information provision, as stipulated under Article 23-1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

When there is a need to cooperate with national institutions, local public organizations, or those who have been entrusted by these organizations to execute duties in line with legal stipulations, amidst situations whereby obtaining the agreement of the individual concerned would create barriers to the execution of these duties.

When entrusting work to contractors, PASCO selects contractors that meet the standards set by us, concludes agreements on the treatment of personal information, and performs the appropriate audits and control.

3. Treatment of customers' personal information

Customers' personal information is managed appropriately and stringently. PASCO CORPORATION has in place safety measures to prevent unlawful access, destruction, falsification, and leakage of customers' personal information.

*Personal information that is subject to disclosure refers to personal information that is compiled systematically as a set of information in order to enable searches on computers, or a set of personal information that is compiled systematically through organization, categorization, and the appending of contents, indices, and markings in line with a fixed set of rules, in order to facilitate easy searches for specific personal information. PASCO has the rights to respond to requests from the individual concerned to disclose, amend, add or delete, suspend the use of, erase, and suspend the provision of, personal information to third parties.
