Tokyo Spot Image K.K. joins PASCO Group

PASCO CORPORATION (Headquarter: Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Yuji Mesaki, hereinafter PASCO) acquired all issued stocks of Tokyo Spot Image K.K. from Airbus DS GEO S.A., which deals with French satellites and provides satellite imageries as the Geo-Intelligence Program Line of Airbus Defence and Space.
PASCO has contracted the general distribution right of all Geo-Intelligence products provided by Airbus Defence and Space and data distribution right of the satellites SPOT 6/7, which have the world’s highest capability of global observation, within Japan. It is made possible to access the global satellite data of SPOT 6/7 directly at PASCO’s ground stations (located in Hokkaido and Okinawa). PASCO is going to launch these services in coming January of 2015.
